October 31st The deadline for Part D drug plans to mail yearly plan information. Please review this material with care to note any changes or deficiencies for your situation. November 15th The first day you can sign up or re-enroll for a Medicare prescription drug plan. We recommend that you submit your materials before December 8th to avoid late entry penalties and ensure that your benefits start on January 1. December 31st is the last day to enroll or to switch Medicare part D plans, unless you meet one of the criteria listed above. January 1st Medicare prescription coverage begins.
